Inspiring talk with Raenan and Andrew Patterson

Today we had a second round of Mr Patterson come to Pt England school. But he had a guest with him and that was Raenan both of them gave us lots of inspiring stuff.

Raenan told us that when you start year 9 you get nervous, but when you move up to older stages you start getting use to it and you dont get that much nervous. One of Raenan points he said really inspired and that was Take advantage of the opportunities.

Andrew Patterson showed us a video of this boy giving his speech in fron of the different teachers. His name was Dwight. His speech was really inspiring . Andrew Patterson told us that his dad was a Mongrel Mob and he was stuck in jail for 8 years.

We learn from our mistakes and everybody know that and that was one of the points. So the year 8s are leaving so they could do one of those points.

Lady Esme & the stolen fire gems

This is my work for this week. We had to read a book about lady esem and the stolen fire gems and we had to read that to find our answers for our task. Then after we finished the presentation we needed to make a google drawing to see what chimneysweep was like back in the day.

Guy Fawkes Poster

This is my poster for fireworks. As you can see there are lost's of different photos of fire works. Guy Fawkes is celebrated on the 5th of November because there was a man called Guy Fawkes. Guy Fawkes are on this day because he tried to kill the king and the governments of London with 34 Barrels of gun powder. But he got caught well he was planting the gun powder in the kings Palace.

So this is why Guy Fawkes are celebrated on the 5th of November.

Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time there was a little girl named little red riding hood she lived with her nana in the forest with some other animals. Once she went looking for some flowers for her nana because her nana wanted to make her house smell nice. She started at the forest because they lived next to a forest so she was assuming that there will be flowers there. She made it to the forest and she started to pick some flowers she saw some Crocus and lavender. Well she was picking the flowers she saw a big wolf.

 So she walked in the bush discreetly to hide from the wolf. So she stayed there until the wolf went then the wolf left but he came back to get a flower and he could hear some noises in the bushes so he had a look and he found a little girl with a basket with flowers in it. He said to the little girl what you doing out here then little red riding hood replied i'm just looking for some flowers for my nana.

Then the wolf said well I better leave you to it so the wolf left. But after the wolf left not long little red riding hood went back to nana she got home then she opened the door and she called nana nana are you home but no reply. She went to nanas room and had a look nana was under the blanket. Then she moved the blanket and had a look and it was nana.

But nana did’nt look the same she had big ears she looked grey. Then she took a closer look then she knew it was the wolf she saw in the forest. But she didn't want to say it was the wolf but then she was just so worried about nana so she blurted and said you're not my nana your the wolf I saw not long ago. Then the wolf giggled and giggled the big bad wolf took of the nana close and said i'm going to eat you then little red riding hood cried.

Then the wolf howled and howled then out of nowhere comes a hunter from the forest. He comes zooming in with his bow and shoots the wolf. Then you could hear something coming from the cupboard so the hunter and little red riding hood went to go and look and it was there nana little red riding hood was so relieved that she found nana. THE END

Fire Works

Few weeks ago it was fire works. Me and my family celebrated fireworks because we do it every year. Fireworks are one of my favourite day because you see all the different colours and different noises. Fireworks only happen once a year. Fireworks are to amazing to me and my family you see the big explosion. But it is dangerous at the same time.

Mr Patterson comes to pes

This morning we had a special guest come into our block and that was Mr Patterson he came into our block. He talked about Aspiration , Inspiration  and motivation. He gave us some tips that really inspired us and what to do in the future. He asked us what we wanted to do and some of the students replied with a police officer foot ball player.

After all of that he showed us a little video. It was about a little boy helping out a homeless man for 2 weeks. His name was Willy and he was 11 years we could't believe our eyes a 11 year old helping out a 60 or 70 year old man. That really inspired me.

All he told us all about the stuff that he knew and watched it made me want to do what willy done. It made me want to change someones life.

ORCHESTRA

This is my work on instruments but it is about the ORCHESTRA. I hope you like watching our video and reading all the different ORCHESTRA. They are different parts of the orchestra like woodwinds family and the strings family and all the different orchestra. 

How to be a good role model

How to be a amazing Role Model. One way to be a good role model is to pick up rubbish whenever you see it lying around so our environment will be better and cleaner for the people. So whenever you see rubbish make sure to put the rubbish in the bin. A second way to be a good role model  is to be kind to little kids and take care of them same goes for other people. You treat the little kids the way you want to be treated and treat others like they're your family or parents. So when they grow up they will know how to treat other kids and others. The last way to be a role model is to help other people when they need help and choosing to do the right stuff instead of the bad stuff and doing stuff before you parents or someone tells you to do it..

So these are awesome ways of how to be a good role model so maybe some time today you could do one of those things.

About Assembly

This morning was a usually Friday but we had  Niue Language week... First we had our song then the prefects done the korero and the korero was Smile's makes a different. They made a little Video clip of the student's in Pt England school that are smiling. Then after that we had a performance from the Niue group. They showed it of to our hole school the girls had a performance then after them the Niue boys done a Niue haka. Then after the Niue stuff was done we said a fear well to our Social worker. Her name is Mrs Vani she was in the room next to miss Nua.

It was a sad moment for her and she Cried. Then after all of that was finish it was time to go back to class so class by class went off back to class and that was it that was the special stuff in our Assembly. Thanks for reading

Getting Paid To come to school

Walt: Identify

Hey you there, student going to school and not getting paid! I agree that children should get paid to go to go school. Otherwise everyday your parents would have to pay for you to go to school willingly. If the school pays for you then you have more of a chance to not worry about paying money everyday for your child.

I believe that schools should pay for you to come to school because parents don't have that much money. They will most likely pay for your lunch at school, unlike if your parents were to pay for you to come to school then you're probably have no lunch to take to school.

Parents send you to school and if your parents were to pay for you to come to school I reckon that the teachers should get 20 dollars or so because the parents are paying for them to come to school. The children should get one hundred dollars a month twenty dollars a week.

Your parents should get that much money each week because your parents are paying for you to come to school everyday. So I agree that teachers should pay for you to come to school!

Now the subject, the subject Is a person, place or thing. For EXAMPLE?

Another Reason special thing in the community is the library because you get to reading a whole stack of book. I normally pick one and read it to like Chapter 3 or 4 then i go on the computer to learn more about stuff. Like how are stuff, Who's the older person in the world like does stuff. That's what I do at the library most of the times and sometimes stay there until it closes.

The Final place in the community is my amazing house I love it because I can't help myself to the food sleep whenever I wont but I hardly sleep at home so I just play rugby with my older brothers and sisters. Use the wifi all the time to finish of my work that I didn't complete from school.

These are all the reason I love and adore in the community and the places I love the mostly and what I do in that community.

The Tonga Ninja

                       The Tonga Ninja

40 years ago? There was a ninja called Fuma Kotaro he had 4                     sidekick helpers. There names were Hattori Hanzo, Jinichi Kawakami, Momochi Sandayu and Ishikawa Goemon. That was his 4 sidekick helpers they went everywhere together. But mostly what they had to do was to protect their house and save crime. They were trying to protect their house from the Dopey Boys .

They wanted to destroy the Tonga Ninja because they were enemies when they were little. The Dopey Boys always had problems with the Tonga Ninja’s and was a disgrace to them.

Tonga Ninja’s save the day until the Dopey boys come ahead and distract the Tonga Ninja from taking them away so the bad criminal don't go to jail . So they couldn't do anything to them because they were gone. So they just headed back to their headquarters. They have heaps of bodyguards why would they need that when they are already strong. This Is their headquarters they been hair since they were 22 years old but now all of them are in they’re 40. But it sill looks fresh and clean.

Then they have a nice sleep till the next morning and go save Glen Innes From the who are staring problems and keeping G.I a happy and better place. So there will be no more crime in this wonderful particular suburb.

First Time for polyfest 2017

POLYFEST?YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Polyfest is a event for people to go and explore the places and watch there stages 1 by if they wanted to. But we discover the different thing in the polyfest.

Polyfest is a amazing and fun event for everyone and you could visit your favourite stage like say samoa but i'm tonga and cook island so i would visit that. But what i really want to see is the samoa’s cause I like how loud they are and how they move with their hand’s.

We were in teams with our parents helpers and also are teacher Ms Tapuke. I was in Ms tapuke group and we needed to share a bag with your buddy also. It was a fun event with my friends. The part I love was getting all the free stuff and answering the questions to get a prize.

Lastly We had a awesome time ride the bike to make a yummy smoothie. First you would have to choose some questions for the smoothie. Then we waited for about 10 minutes to get a smoothie, and we needed to go but lucky I got my one.

It was a fun and amazing day at the polyfest + i'm going back for another fun day
