Pourquoi Tales How the Cheetah got its spots.

One day in a jungle a cheetah was sleeping in his lovely tree dreaming of getting spots on his body.
But then a random woodpecker started hitting the tree from then bottom . Then the cheetah fell
of his tree and woke up. He saw a tiny woodpecker hitting the tree. The Cheetah asked the woodp
ecker what was she doing and the woodpecker said she was making a hole.

Then the Cheetah said with excitement “ohh well so I better get going you do your thing.
”  The Cheetah said bye and so did the woodpecker. The woodpecker keeped on making her hole
while the Cheetah went of to get washed.
The cheetah washed his face and had a little sip of the freshwater. He could see himself in the
water and he a mud all over his face. He was wondering where it was from then he clicked and
remember he tumbled of the tree. So the cheetah rambled into the water to wash of the dirty mud . He got out of the water and shaked it all off and he was feeling a bit hungry so he went and looked for a meal. The cheetah saw 3 gazelles so he creeped up on them then zoom the 3 gazelles ran away then the the cheetah started chasing them.
Then one of the gazelles step to the side and the cheetah bumped into the tree. Then the cheetah
blacked out for about 10 minutes. While the cheetah was blacked out the woodpecker came back
it done its thing hitting the tree but she got tired of hitting the tree. So instead the woodpecker
started hitting the cheetah with its on the cheetah. Then the cheetah woke up and said what
happen where am I then the woodpecker said

Pascal's Triangles

    This is my work for this week. It is about Pascal’s Triangle.There's a pattern in this and we had to try and find out what pattern there was the number 1 going down all the way to 10 and the other pattern was 5 10 15 20. It only ended up at 20 and it kinda looked like a triangle . Those were the only patterns me and my partner could find.

Facts about littering

Today we had to get in a group and talk about what litter is and where is the litter found and our teacher asked us to make a google slide and do 10 fun facts about littering. So this is our work for inquiry 2018.

Inspiring talk with Raenan and Andrew Patterson

Today we had a second round of Mr Patterson come to Pt England school. But he had a guest with him and that was Raenan both of them gave us lots of inspiring stuff.

Raenan told us that when you start year 9 you get nervous, but when you move up to older stages you start getting use to it and you dont get that much nervous. One of Raenan points he said really inspired and that was Take advantage of the opportunities.

Andrew Patterson showed us a video of this boy giving his speech in fron of the different teachers. His name was Dwight. His speech was really inspiring . Andrew Patterson told us that his dad was a Mongrel Mob and he was stuck in jail for 8 years.

We learn from our mistakes and everybody know that and that was one of the points. So the year 8s are leaving so they could do one of those points.

Lady Esme & the stolen fire gems

This is my work for this week. We had to read a book about lady esem and the stolen fire gems and we had to read that to find our answers for our task. Then after we finished the presentation we needed to make a google drawing to see what chimneysweep was like back in the day.

Guy Fawkes Poster

This is my poster for fireworks. As you can see there are lost's of different photos of fire works. Guy Fawkes is celebrated on the 5th of November because there was a man called Guy Fawkes. Guy Fawkes are on this day because he tried to kill the king and the governments of London with 34 Barrels of gun powder. But he got caught well he was planting the gun powder in the kings Palace.

So this is why Guy Fawkes are celebrated on the 5th of November.

Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time there was a little girl named little red riding hood she lived with her nana in the forest with some other animals. Once she went looking for some flowers for her nana because her nana wanted to make her house smell nice. She started at the forest because they lived next to a forest so she was assuming that there will be flowers there. She made it to the forest and she started to pick some flowers she saw some Crocus and lavender. Well she was picking the flowers she saw a big wolf.

 So she walked in the bush discreetly to hide from the wolf. So she stayed there until the wolf went then the wolf left but he came back to get a flower and he could hear some noises in the bushes so he had a look and he found a little girl with a basket with flowers in it. He said to the little girl what you doing out here then little red riding hood replied i'm just looking for some flowers for my nana.

Then the wolf said well I better leave you to it so the wolf left. But after the wolf left not long little red riding hood went back to nana she got home then she opened the door and she called nana nana are you home but no reply. She went to nanas room and had a look nana was under the blanket. Then she moved the blanket and had a look and it was nana.

But nana did’nt look the same she had big ears she looked grey. Then she took a closer look then she knew it was the wolf she saw in the forest. But she didn't want to say it was the wolf but then she was just so worried about nana so she blurted and said you're not my nana your the wolf I saw not long ago. Then the wolf giggled and giggled the big bad wolf took of the nana close and said i'm going to eat you then little red riding hood cried.

Then the wolf howled and howled then out of nowhere comes a hunter from the forest. He comes zooming in with his bow and shoots the wolf. Then you could hear something coming from the cupboard so the hunter and little red riding hood went to go and look and it was there nana little red riding hood was so relieved that she found nana. THE END

Fire Works

Few weeks ago it was fire works. Me and my family celebrated fireworks because we do it every year. Fireworks are one of my favourite day because you see all the different colours and different noises. Fireworks only happen once a year. Fireworks are to amazing to me and my family you see the big explosion. But it is dangerous at the same time.

ORCHESTRA

This is my work on instruments but it is about the ORCHESTRA. I hope you like watching our video and reading all the different ORCHESTRA. They are different parts of the orchestra like woodwinds family and the strings family and all the different orchestra. 

About Assembly

This morning was a usually Friday but we had  Niue Language week... First we had our song then the prefects done the korero and the korero was Smile's makes a different. They made a little Video clip of the student's in Pt England school that are smiling. Then after that we had a performance from the Niue group. They showed it of to our hole school the girls had a performance then after them the Niue boys done a Niue haka. Then after the Niue stuff was done we said a fear well to our Social worker. Her name is Mrs Vani she was in the room next to miss Nua.

It was a sad moment for her and she Cried. Then after all of that was finish it was time to go back to class so class by class went off back to class and that was it that was the special stuff in our Assembly. Thanks for reading
